“Shawn Goeckeler and Creative Supply Chain Solutions came in last year and identified significant cost savings opportunities in our LTL & TL business. Since implementing their suggestions, we’ve been able to identify our spend, run a bid, reduce the number of carriers that we use and generate savings through leveraging our suppliers. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions about their capabilities.”

“Creative Supply Chain Solutions has brought value-add to our transportation needs. They started by identifying significant cost savings opportunities. We then entered into an agreement with Shawn and Creative Supply Chain Solutions that empowered him to negotiate on our behalf for our International, Domestic (LTL), and Small Package freight. CSCS has been able to reduce our damage claims, improve our process flow and bring savings to our bottom line. Dear Shawn,

Over the years I have entertained presentations on supply chain cost savings from numerous organizations. I could immediately tell your company was different In a very short period of time you were up to speed on our business and able to drive significant freight and customs charge savings. Your attention to detail is second to none. I was truly amazed at the amount of data captured and analyzed in a short period of time. Your expertise is deep AND wide. I was proud of your work in bidding our brokerage services. You respected our current supplier while questioning the services we were receiving and the prices charged for them. At the end of the day you preserved this relationship while driving significant savings. I want to thank you for your excellent service to Phoenix Textile Corporation. I can honestly say in my 25 year professional career you are one of the top 5 business partners I have aligned with. I look forward to aligning with you in the future.

Kind Regards,
Lisa L. Myers, CPA

Dear Shawn:
Please feel free to share this letter with anyone as an unqualified endorsement of the work you performed on behalf of the St. Louis Regional Chamber & Growth Association (RCGA). It has been my pleasure to work with you from March through November 2012, in the pursuit of creating an international cargo gateway out of St. Louis-Lambert International Gateway.
As you know, this has been a regional priority for several years, culminating in a shortlived route between St. Louis and Shanghai which began in September 2011. At the forefront of our attempt to re-Iaunch this route and/or identify new international cargo opportunities was a more deliberate outreach to the freight forwarder community than we had previously undertaken. Though some said it was a nearly impossible task, that was your assignment – to work through the top 25 or 30 forwarders nationally in an attempt to secure their buy-in and “soft commitment” to a future route, based on a customized incentive program.

To that end, our efforts succeeded. You worked diligently through the forwarders community and secured the soft commitments that would assure a carrier that we could provide the necessary backhaul to fill three flights per week. What we didn’t count on was one of the most prolonged cargo slumps in recent history, and China Cargo’s decision to hunker down rather than use the downturn as an opportunity to capture market share for their new venture.

I have enjoyed working with you and hope we have the opportunity to do so again, as this overall project takes new twists and turns. Don’t hesitate to provide someone my contact information if they have any questions about your work that you think I’m in position to address.

Best regards,
Steven S. Johnson
